TJ Caune is an estate planning and real estate attorney with the law firm of Purser & Glenn, PLLC. Licensed in both North and South Carolina, he services clients across both states. TJ provides custom solutions to each client, and utilizes his experienced staff to implement strategic plans for each transaction. He has experience in residential and commercial closings, including deferred tax like-kind property exchanges, as well as knowledge with wills, trusts, and estate administration.
TJ believes that facetime with the attorney is integral to the lawyer-client relationship. He takes time to sit down with the client directly to form a personal connection. Although his staff are great at what they do, he believes having a connection with the attorney is important in forming lasting relationships with his clients.
TJ grew up in Concord, NC where he attended Cox Mill High School. After high school, TJ went on to earn two degrees, Magna Cum Laude, at UNC Charlotte. TJ attended law school at Campbell University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. After law school, TJ returned back to his roots to service clients in his home area. TJ married his college sweetheart and has a cat and two dogs. TJ has clerked for Federal Magistrate David S. Cayer, was on the Moot Court team in law school, and was a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. He is a member of the North Carolina and South Carolina State Bars; the Mecklenburg County Bar; the North Carolina Bar Association; the Young Lawyers Division of North Carolina and South Carolina; and a member of the Elder & Special Needs Law section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
